Search and Shape conducts social science research and makes concrete interventions on issues of housing, urban development and migration. We work in teams and pursue a transdisciplinary approach. We build on qualitative research methods that are combined with further approaches; we process the material in research reports, graphics, maps, online platforms, exhibitions, and pedagogical concepts. We are furthermore committed to supporting and developing social processes. Search and Shape works on five types of projects:
- Scientific research
- Partnership in international research projects
- Contract research
- Exhibitions, museum education, art installations
- Planning in the field of social sustainability in housing estates and neighborhoods
The professional network of Search and Shape is international and interdisciplinary. It brings together academic and non-academic partners.
